About one year ago, Adinews published one pair of Adidas high-tech training shoes which co-designed by Porsche. Cooperation between Adidas and Porsche can be traced back to July, 05. The original intention was to compete with Puma (as Puma cooperated with Ferrari) and to achieve win-win.

Early shoe style of Porsche Design Adidas was based on leisure shoes, which was so-called Clover series. It’s back to March, 08 when Adidas released Adidas Porsche Design Sport Bounce: S.

From the name, we can see clearly Bounce, but this Bounce technology is not the Bounce system we knew before, but wholly-improved. Inspired from suspension system of Porsche racing car, whole-new spring bounce feedback system, effectively achieved shock absorption through calculated and designed spring and connecting bar. Proved by design team’s test, the shoes can really improve 25% shock absorption feedback. It can be said that Adidas Porsche Design shoes are completely separated from traditional shock absorption means. The whole design is pure mechanic.
